Know the license rules

Plan around the weather
South Florida afternoons often bring quick moving storms, especially in summer. Morning departures usually get the calmest water and the clearest skies. If weather cancels your trip, ask about rescheduling when you book.
Respect the no wake zones
Large stretches of the Intracoastal and the canals around Fort Lauderdale are marked no wake or slow speed zones. They are patrolled and the fines are real. We point out the zones along your planned route before you leave the dock.
What to bring
Sunscreen, towels, drinks in a cooler, and a dry bag for phones cover most trips. The boat comes with required safety gear. If nobody in your group wants to drive, ask about our captains when you book.
